Send Recruiter-Branded Emails to Applicants

Once you've set up your Custom Domain, you're free to start customizing how your interview invites are sent, but more importantly, who they come from.

Adding your Own Recruiter Email to Interview Invites

By default, all invites are sent from hiring@talentllama.com. That’s not ideal, because it looks generic, can lower trust, and is more likely to be ignored or missed. We strongly recommend setting up a Custom Domain so emails come from an address you control (for example, @yourcompany.com). This makes invites look legitimate, consistent with your brand, and more familiar to candidates.

It also unlocks a more personal option: sending emails from your own recruiter email, so applicants see messages coming directly from “you.” This typically improves open rates and overall candidate experience, it also allows candidates to reply to you directly.

It's simple to set up, but you will need to ensure that your Custom Domain is complete before you do this.

Step 1: In the bottom-left corner, click the three dots ( ⋯ ), select Admin, then click Branding in the top menu.

Step 2: You should see your companies brand here already, so click the three dots ( ⋯ ) on the right of the Branding Profile, and then click Clone Profile.

This way, everything remains the same including logos, colors etc, and you won't need to recreate them all.

Step 3: It's important that you name the new Brand Profile distinctively, so that other members of your account can easily recognize which brand is theirs, and which is yours. An example is below, but using your name at the start is our recommendation.

Step 4: Click into the new Brand Profile you created, you'll be able to see which brand you're editing in the top left with the Profile Name.

From there, click on the Edit button next to the From: field as below.

Step 4: Finally, edit the From Name (your name), and the From Account (your email address, before the @ symbol).

You can also add an addition Reply To email, which is simply an email that will also receive any responses (you could make this your generic Talent email or similar).

You're all done! Now, when you set up new Campaigns with your personalized recruiter brand, it will appear as if the invite is coming from you.
