How To Manage Campaign Outlines
So you've built your Campaign, and now it's time to design the Outline that Talent Llama's AI will follow during the screening of your candidates.
This article will talk you though managing and understanding your Outline.

Outline
When we refer to the Outline of your Campaign, we're essentially describing the flow of the AI Screening. You'll see Expand and Collapse on the top left, which open or close all Topics below. It's a quick way to expand everything so you can get a birds-eye view of your outline.
You can easily change the order of your Topics with the dots icon on the right hand side, or delete them by clicking the red trash icon.

Minimum Qualifications
The first section, contains the Minimum Qualifications questions, commonly referred to as knockout questions. These will be asked of every candidate during the screening process.
If a candidate does not meet these minimum qualifications, the interview will end politely to avoid taking up additional time unnecessarily

You'll notice a Label at the top, followed by the question itself (Bachelors Degree, Salary Range and Location below). The Label is an internal-only way of easily recognizing the question without the need to expand the topic.

With Minimum Qualifications, your question will be asked exactly as you word it here, so its important to be specific.
You can ask for answers in the affirmative, in the negative or based on specific criteria.

Remember, AI can take things quite literally, so if you word your question as below, and then set a Criteria of 'Must fall below $95,000' and your candidate answers with salary expectations of 95k, they would not pass, as that it not below the figure. You'd need to word your Criteria as "Must be 95,000 or below" in order for that answer to be accepted.
In this case, it would be better use the Criteria as "Answer in the affirmative".

Custom Fields
You can also add Custom Fields to your questions too.
Each recruiting team tracks different details. With Custom Fields, you can tailor Talent Llama to record the data that matters most to your process. These fields pull information from any interview topic, including minimum qualifications, and let you filter applicants based on those values. Use them to capture specifics like certifications, work location, or department preferences for future review.
Below is an example of a Salary Custom Field. In this case, we're asking the AI to add a specific number into that field, based on the answer given by the candidate.

Topics
Once you're happy with your Minimum Qualifications, you can move on to crafting the interview itself with Topics.
Topics are slightly different, as here we are prompting the AI with three possible categories:
- Open-Ended
- Competency
- Criteria
Open-Ended
Open-Ended questions are as they sound! A space for your candidates to tell you about them, or ask for specific stories/examples. This allows them to talk for however long necessary to answer the question. With Open-Ended questions, the question is asked exactly as you word it below, however the AI interviewer can follow up with more questions if it feels the question hasn't been answered quite right, or feels more information is needed.

Competency
Competency based questions are a little different. These questions can, depending on the role you're hiring for, fall into different types of Specificity. The more Requirements you add, or the stricter you make those requirements, the more Precise the Specificity will become.
In the below example, we can see we that this Account Executive role (which we set at 3 years experience) is asking for exact examples of a Deal Qualification Methodology. If these aren't met, the interview won't stop, however they will lose points in the scoring for not mentioning these.
These methodologies were mentioned in the original job description as requirements, and therefore a more Precise topic was generated.
Whereas in this example, we're simply asking for how they currently work in a CRM, so it becomes more generalized and less specific.

Criteria
Criteria are similar to Min-Quals in the sense the question is direct and they must answer in the Affirmative, Negative, or meet a set Criteria, however if they do not meet the requirements, the interview will continue.
It would affect their overall candidate score if they don't answer it the way you've set out, but won't necessarily stop them from being in the running for the position.

Interview Length
So now your Minimum Qualifications and Topics are complete. You can check the estimated interview length based on everything you've entered at the top right side of the Outline.
Remember, this is an estimated time. Candidates can ask questions to the AI about your company, the role and the team, it can also ask follow up questions - and all of these could extend out the run time of the interview.
